Practical Sailor says "the Westsail 32 bears a serious look for those who want to go offshore on a budget: a good buy in a rugged boat". This vessel has the Perkins 4-108 diesel that Practical Sailor highly recommends over the Volvo Penta MD2 or MD3. The diesel is fresh water cooled, equipped with gauges and audible alarms, was put in new in 1992 and now has only 1200 hours. The sails are tanbark and include the main and staysail in very good shape, a 110% genoa and a storm jib. Additional equipment on this vessel includes Alder Barber refrig/freezer new in 2002, propane three burner stove with oven, hot/cold pressure water, Dickinson diesel cabin heater, PUR 800 watermaker, a Simpson-Lawrance anchor windlass and three anchors (75 lb danforth type, 35 lb CQR, 40 lb Danforth) with hundreds of feet of chain and line rode. The bottom is done in "Copperclad" and has no blisters. The prop is a 16" three blade self feathering Max-Prop. An 8 ft fiberglass dinghy and a Zodiac 3-man life raft (needs to be re-certified) go with the boat.

IF YOU ARE DREAMING OF "THE PASSAGE" THIS IS YOUR BOAT       $39,500
