The Island Trader represents the modern day rendition of the classic pirate vessel. She has the teak taff rail on the transom, teak decks, cockpit seats and cockpit floor, wood spoked wheel, hollow box spruce masts, varnished booms, decorative teak carvings throughout the interior, and trail boards pointing at the dolphin striker which supports a bowsprit big enough to sleep on. The warm feeling teak interior is further heated by a propane cabin heater. There are twenty-six storage compartments, each with teak doors. The L-shaped dinette has a teak drop-leaf table and the galley features a propane stove and oven. Auxiliary power is offered by a Volvo diesel.
