Designed by Americas Cup designer Johan Valentijn, the Endeavour 38 changed the image of center cockpit boats as poor performers. The 38 Center Cockpit used Klegecell closed-cell polyvinyl foam coring and incorporated "a multi-axial steel reinforced 'force grid' bonded to the hull for stiffness." The result was a comfortable cruiser with real sailing performance. "Air Force Won" is completely equipped to go cruising tomorrow. She is set up for extended living aboard. The Endeavor 38 features a comfortable owners stateroom aft with adjoining private head. Forward you will find a very private and roomy guest cabin with adjoining head. Separating these two cabins is a spacious salon with U shaped dinette that will seat the whole crew. The salon includes a settee opposite the dinette for below decks socializing. All cabins are finished in varnished teak bulkheads, Formica counter tops, cedar lined lockers and teak and holly soles. The roomy galley will allow the cook to pamper the crew. The galley has refrigeration, a 3 burner stove with oven, deep double sinks, microwave and H/C pressure water. Opposite the galley is a true navigators station with full instrumentation including Furuno radar. The electronics package features a Datamarine Link system providing the navigator with constant feedback as to wind speed and direction, depth and boat speed. Safe passages are assured via Garmin GPS [with backup Loran] and Icom radio.

The electrical needs are amply provided for via [4] 6-volt house batteries and a pole mounted Air Marine wind charging system tied into a Link 10 battery monitoring system. On deck comfort and protection from sun and rain is provided for with full cockpit cushions and full enclosure with roll up curtains and screens. For easy sailing "Air Force Won" comes with pedestal mounted wheel steering, autopilot, full instrument repeaters and a roller-furling jib. The main is equipped with lazy jacks and is fully battened. A full CG safety package and dual ground tackle are on board. This boat has been to the Bahamas several times and is ready to take you there whenever you are ready.
